I thought the Sons Of The Pioneers were square – embarrassingly so – when I was four. I still do.

But, for some square dudes, they sure had some un-square songs. One thinks of “Old Man Atom”, but I love this one, which I never heard when I was little.

Of course, if you’ve never met someone who has no conscience, this one might seem pretty square – more in the spirit of Jiminy Cricket than the Nuremberg trials.
