Blue Highway has what they call in baseball a deep bench – three exceptionally-strong singer/songwriters, and five brilliant pickers. It’s mandolinist, Shawn Lane, who stands out here, thanks to his driving breaks and rock-solid falsetto. This is a brisk version of a bluegrass gospel standard, “The Old Crossroads”.
