This is one of those quotes frequently used by folks who are desperate to convince you that music is deep in their bones. You see it a lot on the Internet, but it never seems to be accompanied by examples of the poster's passionate musicianship.

If you're learning it, quote it; but if you're already supposed to have it, you should be able to coin your own phrases without borrowing from some musician who's gone before.
