For months, I passed over this new band because I hated their
name. If the name was this bad, could the music be any better, I
wondered.
When one of my favorite YouTubers uploaded a batch of their songs from a recent show, I decided to give them a chance. I’m glad I did.
Lead singer, Mark Hudson was part of Hudson & Skinner, a band that played hard-driving, traditional bluegrass with passion and precision. Jason Skinner got a new lead singer, but I had no idea what happened to Mark Hudson until I saw this clip.
These days, Mark Hudson is singing better than ever. He’s still rocking the retro haircut, and he’s surrounded himself with some powerful musicians.
