When Wayne Lewis sings this, you can believe it. Glen Duncan’s chatty
fiddle provides a kind of Greek chorus back-up; you can hear the whole
town talking in his licks. And then, there’s Bill Monroe himself, with a
bluesy but pitiless mandolin break that almost seems to side with
Duncan against a man who wails defiantly, “I’ve Lived A Lot In My Time”.
